- A great book about what can happen when people rely too much on the powers that be to provide for their happiness. A gram is better than a damn.
Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo
- Read this one and you'll never cheer for "our side" in a war again. War is ugly, not heroic and definitely not glamorous. There is no "our side," we all lose and enough is enough.
Watership Down by Richard George Adams
- One of my favorite books, and definitely the best book about rabbits I've ever heard of. I think we can all relate to the experience of going tharn at least once in our lives.
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and Lila by Robert Pirsig
- Metaphysics of Quality. Excellent philosophy and good guides to life in these crazy times we live in.
