I'm from Sioux Center, Iowa.
It's a small town of about 6,000 people...unless Dordt College is in session. Then it's a couple thousand more. The natives are Dutch... unless Dordt is in session. Then there's people from all over the nation and a few other countries... including Canada.
I am a graphic designer. I studied at Dordt and interned in Chicago. I graduated in 1998. Since then I've mostly worked in graphics and internet departments at newspapers throughout the area.
I grew up on an acreage outside of Sioux Center. It's near Carmel, IA. I'm one of six kids in a family which is considered large by today's standards. I'm also a twin...which might scare some people, but most are o.k. with it! :) My 3 sisters live in Sioux Falls and my younger brother lives in Hull. He and his wife just had a baby boy, so I'm happy to be a
first-time uncle!
