Buenas ideas

- Las modas van y vienen, solo lo verdaderamente util permanece.
- La verdadera nobleza se demuestra con los hechos.
Golpe bajo al ego.
¿Alguna vez te has detenido a pensar en cómo es que
llegamos a existir sobre la faz de este planeta?
No me mal interpretes; no pienso meterme en rollos metafísicos
ni en cuestiones de filosofía ni nada que requiera la ayuda
de agentes externos para su comprensión (como cigarros
extraños, por ejemplo). Lo que estoy comentando es pura
y llanamente mis conclusiones sobre un artículo aparecido
recientemente en una revista de difusión científica
publicada en México, en donde uno de sus artículos
de fondo trataba precisamente de la forma en que las células
primitivas evolucionaron a etapas más desarrolladas capaces
de producir o transformar su energía, según investigaciones
realizadas en una reconocida universidad escocesa.
Imagínate este escenario: en algún caldo acuoso
primitivo, una pequeña célula se acerca a una bacteria
que está nadando despreocupadamente en ese universo líquido.
De repente, la célula rodea a la bacteria y, literalmente,
se la traga.
Por alguna razón, la bacteria no muere al ser tragada por
la célula, sino que sigue viviendo en su interior y empieza
a tener intercambio con su nuevo casero, al grado de empezar a
reproducirse junto con la célula estableciéndose
a lo largo del tiempo lo que los biólogos llaman una relación
simbiótica entre los dos organismos: una relación
en la que cada uno de los dos organismos necesita del otro para
seguir viviendo.
Bueno, pues resulta que según las más recientes
investigaciones, de esta sociedad forzada -en la que la pobre
bacteria no tuvo ocasión de rehusarse a colaborar- surgieron
nada más ni nada menos que los orgánulos más
importantes de la estructura celular actual: las mitocondrias,
encargadas de realizar el intercambio de energía entre
los demás orgánulos suspendidos en el plasma y el
núcleo de la célula propiamente dicho. (por cierto,
que las mitocondrias no son otra cosa que los descendientes directos
de esa bacteria que se rehusó a ser digerida!)
Pues bien, el punto oscuro de este asunto es el siguiente:
- La célula se come a la bacteria.
- La bacteria no se muere, sino que se las ingenia para vivir
dentro de la célula, algo así como si se tratara
de un parásito de la célula.
- Al cabo del tiempo, la bacteria se apropia de una función
metabólica importante para la célula, ayudándola
a procesar la energía que la mantiene viva.
- De esta indigesta comida unicelular evolucionaron las células
que eventualmente crearon a las plantas, animales y por supuesto
al hombre.
LUEGO ENTONCES, EL LADO OSCURO DE ESTA HISTORIA ES QUE:
Provenimos de la indigesta comida de una célula tragona
que mordió más de lo que podía masticar.
¿Cómo les quedó el ojo? ¿No es un golpe
bajo al ego que nosotros, las "creaciones supremas de la
evolución y selección natural" no seamos sino
el resultado fortuito de una mala comida en donde la cena se convirtió
en parte del comensal? ¿Y que el hombre y todos los seres
vivos no existiríamos de no haber sido porque la célula
precisa en el momento preciso en el lugar preciso de un inmenso
charco de agua, se tragó a la bacteria precisa que resultaría
lo bastante obstinada como para no dejarse digerir tan fácilmente?
Así es que jóvenes, la próxima vez que sientan
la tentación de pensar que somos creaciones divinas, acuérdense
que no somos más que el excremento de una comida que no
se realizó según lo planeado.

Blow under to the ego
Sometime you have stopped you to think about how is that we arrive to exist on the aspect of this planet?
Not me wrong you interpret; I do not think to insert me in metaphysical rolls neither in question
of philosophy nor nothing that require the external agents help for their
comprehension (as strange cigars, for example). what am commenting is pure and
only my conclusions on an article appeared recently in a magazine of published scientific
diffusion in Mexico, in which one of their/its fund articles was trying precisely to the
form in which the primitive cells evolved to stages more developed capable of producing or
transforming their energy, according to investigations accomplished in a
recognized Scottish university.
Imagine this stage: in some primitive aqueous broth, a small cell is about to a bacteria
that it is swimming uncare in that liquid universe. Suddenly, the cell surrounds to the
bacteria and, literally, is swallowed it.
For some reason, the bacteria does not die to be swallowed by the cell, but continues living
in their interior and begins to have exchange with their new homespun, to the degree
of beginning to be reproduced together with the cell being established to what is long of
the time what the biologists call a relationship simbiotic between the two organizations:
a relationship in the one which each one of the two organizations needs of the other to
follow living.
Well, since it results that according to the most recent investigations, from this forced
society - in the one which the poor bacteria did not had occasion of be refused to
collaborate - emerged nothing else neither nothing less than the "organulos" most important
of the current cellular structure: "mithocondrias", commissioned with accomplishing energy
exchange between the other "organulos" discontinued in the plasma and the kernel of the
properly said cell. (by certain, that the "mithocondrias" are not something else that
the direct descendants of that bacteria that was refused to be digested! )
Now then, the Dark Side of this matter is the following:
- The cell is eaten to the bacteria.
- The bacteria is not died, but is devised them to live within the cell, something
like if is tried to a parasite to the cell.
- Finally of the time, the bacteria is appropriated of an important metabolic function
for the cell, helping it to process energy that maintains it live.
- Of this indigestible food unicelular evolved the cells that eventually created to the
plants, animal and of course to the man.
SO THEN, THE DARK SIDE OF IS HISTORY IS THAT:
We originated of the indigestible food of a greedy-guts cell that bit more than what could
masticate.
What do you think? It is not a blow under to the ego that we, the " supreme
creations of the evolution and natural selection" do not be but the fortuitous result of a
wrong eaten in which the dinner was converted in part of the retainer? that the man and all
the live beings would not exist of have not been because the cell specifies in the nick of
time in the accurate place of an immense water puddle, was swallowed to the bacteria
specifies that would result what is quite obstinate as so as not to let to digest so easily?
Such is that youths, the next time that sit the temptation of thinking that we are divine
creations, remember that we are not more than the feces of a food that was not
accomplished according to what is planned.
