"New media technologies_ offer so many different approaches, directions and angles to follow_ would i use a computer / investigate any of these if they were not so accessible_ the cost of materialising computer generated images & exploring the technologies is financially prohibitive & restricting

I like creating in the virtual realm & a big plus about being a student _despite the late hours to get access and the time to experiment_ means the technology is more readily accessible_ there are so many programs and projects to follow_ primarily i engage with the computer as a tool and companion in the creative process _ i use the computer to learn about colour to paint & draw & explore & investigate images/ concepts_ i like to create different kinds of images_ small stamp sized 1 inch X 1 inch_ upwards_

I live with myself_ my abilities & lack of ability_ my disability is not so visible it's continuous in its challenge & is forever present_it is an unpredictable and unremitting force of nature_sometimes i feel as if I've been ravaged in a wind storm for months on end_ I'm grateful when the season halts if only temporary_ a reprieve
