My first look out the window

The entrance to the Albergo Athens, where we stayed, and San Antonio, patron saint of the attached church and the medieval monastery from which the albergo was converted.

This very beautiful rainbow was completely contained within the valley to the north of Cortona. At the opposite end from the picture, there was a second, very faint higher in the sky.

This staircase leads up to the Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca, which is housed in Palazzo Casali.

Piazza della Republica was turned into a concert hall for a week for performances by Andre Rieu, a world renowned violinist. It was quite a spectacle, but the man was full of himself.

Here I go leaving the albergo for the last time.
