About
Me
Past
My Name is Roger Branch.
I am originally from Louisville, Ky. I moved to
Grayson County, Kentucky when I
was 16, where I lived until I Graduated High School.
Two weeks after Graduation I
found myself on a plane bound for Anniston, Al
and the U.S. Army Military
Police School. I spent the next 14 years in the army.
While in the Army I had
the chance to visit/live in Georgia, California, New
York (twice), Wisconsin,
Florida, Grenade, Honduras, Panama, El Salvador,
Germany (twice), Canada,
Denmark, and Spain.
While in Germany on my second
tour, I met two very wonderful women, Sandy
my Ex-wife and her twin sister
Cathy. Sandy and I had a son together, Chris, who
is now the big 13. After
completing my service with the military I returned to
Kentucky. I took up a new
trade as a welder and lived there for three years. I then
moved to Grand Forks, North
Dakota to be closer to Chris and try to reconcile with
Sandy, which did not
work. I gave up welding and became an Industrial
Maintenance Specialist. I
made a few very good friends there, one in particular,
Shelia Miller.
She was a friend, a sister and a very calming effect on me. I miss
her deeply and she will forever
hold a place in my heart. I stayed in in ND for nearly
Six years. I than had to
make the hardest decision of my life, to move.
I have now returned to
Kentucky, where I plan to spend the rest of my life.
The turbulence of my life has
pushed me forward to an unknown destination,
unknown until now. The
heartache, the battles, the pain and the joy have developed
me into the person I needed to
be, for the day heaven smiled and blessed me
with my one true love and my
future, Katherine Tracey Combs.
