Objectives:

I am looking for a job that will take advantage of my technical and academic skills, and will allow me room for creativity and learning. I have excellent people skills, good technical skills, and an aptitude for learning anything you have to teach me. My ideal work situation would be one in which I have room to grow and develop my skills, and where I faced with new challenges. Ideally this would be in a QA Lead type position, however I am open to opportunities in project management or product support.


Education:

B.A. in History from Mills College (1997)

Developed research and writing skills and ability to use archival materials. Thesis on late medieval English nuns, with research from original sources. Also course work in computer science. Completed degree in 3 1/2 semesters, 1 semester ahead of schedule.

EMT-1 Certification from San Francisco City College (2000)

Completed basic training as an emergency medical technician. Focused on principals of patient care and state and local standards of practice. Certification valid through July 2002.

    QA Lead (Acteva.com, San Francisco, CA)

  • Built QA process for start up from ground up
  • Developed test plans and procedures for point releases as well as weekly updates, bug fixes, and custom client solutions
  • Coordinated and managed all testing for large scale database migration (from SQL to Oracle)
  • Managed all testing efforts for ColdFusion web application, from back end database testing to UI and content testing
  • Hired, trained and managed team of QA analysts
