Hello, fellow friends and Internet surfer. A very warm welcome to my web-page. I'm very glad that you have made it this far........ and I hope that you'll stick around here long enough to know just a little bit more about my web-page. Majoring in Architecture at The University of Melbourne, it wasn't too difficult to come out with such a theme for my first web-page --- The Illustrated Web Of Architecture.

So what is Architecture????

Architecture is something we all have ideas about. It is essentially the art of reconciliation. It involves resolving specific and general demands of its users within a projected image of three-dimensional form. Through the various ages and civilizations, different materials, different tools, and above all different ideas have determined different styles of building. Yet it is also true that there is a continually, a sequential thread running through the drift of history and sometimes revived as the original style, but in modern materials. The result is that today, an amazingly diversed range of styles is evident in the constructions being built, incorporating elements from all epochs and cultures.

Through this extraordinary more than 40 page web that I created, you'll be able to view graphics and illustration of famous buildings, both past and present, read about the biography of famous architects, see the different types of materials used in the construction of buildings, and how architecture progressed from the stonehenge times, to the ancient Greek and Romans, right up to the 21st century.

Portfolio of Works

I have also recently included a portfolio of works done by me and my friends in this web-site. They include architectural history essays and design works.

So really hope you do enjoy them.
