Nonlinear editing skills on various systems, high-end and low-end. Linear experience as well. Production work including camera, grip work, dolly grip, and production services. Experience in studio and on location, with and without talent, indoor and outdoor, both planned shoots and "run and gun". Able to work ENG/EFP style and with tight, precise schedules. Also basic sound design and digital mixing skills.

--Present - Media specialist at Electronic Media Group, Golden Valley, MN. Responsible for producing documentation video, working on studio and location shoots, and studio maintenance.
--Recent - Freelance work in Twin Cities for various production companies.
--1998 Administrative Director at KRUI, 89.7fm, Iowa City. Duties included personnel filing, budgeting, accounts payable, and public file maintenance.
--1997 - 1998 Operations Manager at SVP at the University of Iowa. Duties include coordination of shows produced in-house, studio maintenance, routine maintenance of studio and field equipment, and overseeing in-studio productions.
--1997 - Internship at Badiyan Productions, Minneapolis. Duties included work as camera operator, grip, dolly grip, assistant gaffer, and PA on location and studio shoots, as well as routine business including dupes and archiving.
--1996 - Internship at Cargill Corporate Communications, Plymouth. Archived video library and communicated with other departments regarding the use and acquisition of video documentation of Cargill activities.
--1994 - Internship at Lee Pictures, Minneapolis. Duties included work as grip and PA on location shoots as well as pre-production work. Involved extensively with aspects of several productions including research, casting, crew calling, plotting lights, and post-production.
--1992-94 - Employed at ISD 196's KETV. Worked as director for live shoots, camera operator, editor and grip. Also produced several special-event shows.

--BA in Communication/Media Studies - University of Iowa, School of Communication. Media Studies major, concentration in film production. GPA in major area: 3.92
--Diploma - Apple Valley High School, Apple Valley, MN. Cumulative GPA: 3.86


Skills:

--Nonlinear editing experience, including work with Media 100, FAST systems, Miro, and Avid.
--Experience with 16mm (Arri-BL, Arri-M, Arri-SR) and Betacam-sp formats.
--Two years experience in digital radio production at KRUI-fm, Iowa City.¨ Mac and PC literate. Familiar with most office software or it's compliment.
