Fractals

All images on this page I freely distribute, asking only that (implicit or explicit) credit go to none other than me (as their creator).
All these images started with Fractint (a.k.a. Frain). I should also mention that they're quite large.

A basic fractal in monochrome. This and the next two use the same algorithm.

A bolt of lightning.

blulight.jpg Blue Lightning (174k)
Not a common color for lightning. You may notice that it is the same as the Lightning fractal, but in a different color.

spider.jpg Fire Spider (222k)
Arachnid from hell. This and Flametongues use the same algorithm.

flameton.jpg Flametongues (260k)
Watch as the infernal flames lick at the pyreal corner. Yes, I made that word up; it is my prerogative.

mirror.jpg Mirror (190k)
The top and bottom mirror one another (In a fractal? No way!). Sorry, I'll try to come up with a better name. (addendum: after three years I haven't)

strfield.jpg Starfield (574k)
Yes, this is a fractal.
