A little about the author of this website.... ME!

Hi! I'm Denise! It's so nice of you to stop by my home page to learn a little bit about who I am! Below are the boring details! (grin)

The photograph to the left was taken in March of 1996. I'm told that I haven't changed that much! The question is: Is that really true or are these people just humoring me??? (grin)

Well here's the details:

I'm 34, 5'4" and, well...you can look at the photos to get the physical details.... I live in Orange County, NY and commute to Mid-town Manhattan where I provide legal support services in a very large law firm. On the side, I like to design home pages and perform computer technical services. You can learn more about some of these services by clicking HERE.

My interests include:

Well, the obvious, computers, the internet, chatting online, working on my home page and all that other "geeky" type stuff. Actually, I love anything high tech! In fact, my computer is a home-built PIII 550 Mhz system which I just networked with another computer in my house.

In addition to the "geeky" stuff, I enjoy alternative and rock music (Smashing Pumpkins, Morrisette, Green Day, U2, etc..etc..; movies either in the theatre or curled up on the couch (preferably comedy, sci-fi, suspense, action and, of course, romance. None of that horror "gag-me-with-a-chainsaw" kinda stuff). I'm not a big TV show person, but some that I do watch are X-Files, Star Trek, Ally McBeal, Stargate SG-1, Who's Line is Anyway? and, of course, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Other things I like are, dining out (how about Japanese, Italian, Greek, Chinese, etc...); dancing; animals ( I've got 1 dog and 3 cats!); horseback riding; swimming; long walks on the beach or in the country; shopping; good conversation; taking long drives to "no place special" (ever been there? :) and traveling. I'm getting more and more into health and fitness. I try to work out as much as time will let me. I did have a membership at Gold's Gym, here in Middletown, NY, but working in the city has limited my work-out time, so I generally try to get in as much walking around Midtown as possible.

As for the types of people I enjoy socializing with, I like people with a good sense of humor as I tend to enjoy clowning around myself from time to time! I tend to enjoy people who are more on the intellectual side. I guess that is because I like people who I can learn from, but who are not so arrogant that they are not willing to learn from others. I'm a very independent person by nature and so I prefer people who are the same way. People who seem to needy or clingy kind of turn me off, but that's me.
