1. Anderson¹ Ray was born July 13, 1818. Anderson died May 29, 1894 in Jackson Co, Ga, at 75 years of age.

He married Frances Shields November 22, 1846.

Anderson Ray and Frances Shields had the following children:

+ 2 i. Samuel Sylvestus² Ray was born November 7, 1858.

3 ii. Georiga Lu Dora Ray was born in Banks Co, GA November 2, 1862. Georiga died January 11, 1931 in Banks Co, GA, at 68 years of age. Her body was interred in McDonald Cem, Banks Co, Ga. She married William Minyard Chandler. William was born in Homer, Banks Co, GA June 22, 1866. He was the son of Thomas Callaway Chandler and Flora Melissa Sanders. William died May 16, 1896 in Homer, Banks Co, GA, at 29 years of age. (See William Minyard Chandler for the continuation of this line.)
