I created this section of my web site back in high school to display my stabs at poetry. If I find time to be inspired again, I'll be sure to update this page as often as possible. Still I Lay Down

There are days when I can’t help
To bow my head and cry
And there are nights when I can’t sleep
And I don’t even know why
How can I feel joy and blessed still
While in me rages a storm?
Tempests’ fury and choking waves
Of doubt crush my weary form..

But still I lay down
In fields of green pastures of Your peace
And lay by the waters
That flow from the heart of the One who died for me
The storm now subsides and Your Spirit soothes me
Down to my weary bones...
And I find true peace and contentment, Lord,
Within Your arms alone.
