A Long Time Friend


We Miss You

 The parents drove him
His mind was set
Never filled with regret
His whole body went limp

A friend's phone rang
The ambulance arrived
He would not survive
Killed by the great bang

The note was found
By his very best friend
His funeral many did attend
Even the most cheerful fround

All over school it was told
Many a tear was shead
Our best friend was dead
How sad times unfold

To this very day
He gets no respect
This is to reverse that effect
And that is why I say

Nevermore Moon

Here I am to sit and wait
My mind never ceases debate
As I stay to challenge fate
All life over so soon
Listen to that dismal tune
Watching the dying moon
Dark will soon be day
And I will forever stay
Buried here beneath the hay
Never again to be seen
No longer part of the team
Never again to be mean
Just like the dying moon


Thunder

A war has just been declared
Just as it has before
An unfair battle
For only one side can fight
The sky alight by every shot
The sound shakes every home
It will soon be over
The fury will be gone
Only to return again soon
One god's pointless war


Midnight Tease

A soul set free
A serogate life
The devil so seraphic
Even god is a heratic
A prude now a maenad
The lame so magnific
Here all's possible
In one nights slumber
