Using Paint Shop Pro create your graphic.
Be sure to use a unique color not found in
the visible portion of the image for your background color.

SelectCOLORS>
SET PALETTE TRANSPARENCY

Click on Set the transparency value to palette entry. (If not created as
a 256 color image you will be given the option of converting it to one,
do so.)

Move the mouse pointer onto the image & "suck" up the background
color.(you may have to move the dialog box out of the way if it is
covering the image)

VIEW PALETTE TRANSPARENCY
If you did everything right the background should change to a checkerboard.
