Crazy
By Arron Smith

Had a dream one night,
Couldn't say a word.
So I made a wish,
And turned to a bird.

The bird said to me,
Just to let you be,
But he don't see,
My love for thee.

I can't think,
And I can't see.
What isn't there,
Just must be!

I killed the bird,
For what he said.
And buried him deep,
Beneath my bed.

"Put down the shovel,
Grab me a beer.
Sit on my couch,
Next to me over here."

"What do you think?"
I say to him.
"Give it up!"
I hear again...

He gets off the couch,
And flies away.
As he leaves me here,
I hear him say;

"The life's not there,
Just to take.
But the decision yours,
For you to make!"

I can't think,
And I can't see,
What isn't there,
Just must be.

I need to think,
I need to feel,
I need to know,
This life's not real.

One thing true?
It's my love for you,
But you don't know,
Just what you do...

You drive me nutz,
You drive me mad,
You make me happy,
You make me say.

You make me think,
You make me see,
What isn't there,
Must NEVER be!
