The Horror, The Horror...

Ghosts? At Disneyland? Yep! There have been many other Cast Members that have told me stories of ghosts that live at Disneyland. Whether the stories are true or not, I do not know, but I will share with you the stories I have heard. Most of the ghosts occur in Tomorrowland for some reason. These are the stories Disneyland (probably) doesn't want you to know!

The first story I heard was about two Guests who had died on the PeopleMover. They had both climbed out of their car (going a raging speed of 2 MPH) and were literally run over repeatedly by the other on-coming cars. Both high school boys, one 17, one about 18 or 19. The younger guy's ghost is said to haunt the second floor of the Star Trader stock room. Where incidentally the words "Helter Skelter" can be read on the wall (they say every time it is painted over, it comes back!). The older guy's ghost haunts the fourth floor of the same stock room. This ghost has been known to be volatile, by throwing things at people.

Another ghost is said to haunt a hallway near Innoventions (AKA: Carrousel of Progress or America Sings). This ghost is that of a small girl who can be heard skipping down the hall. This is said to occur only in a certain spot every night.

One of the ghosts is that of a Cast Member that got killed while operating America Sings. She is said to haunt an area underneath Innoventions now. I have now heard new stories about this Innoventions ghost. The Cast Members working in Innoventions have experienced some strange things including voices, strange sounds, and gusts of wind---inside. One particular incident involves a Cast Member restroom. The story goes that a male Cast Member went to open the door of the restroom, finding it was locked. He waited a while then knocked, a female voice that said "Be out in a minute" came from inside. After waiting about 10 minutes he tried the door once again and found it unlocked, with no one inside....creepy huh...

It is said there is a ghost on Space Mountain. When you are in a certain car, on a certain night, if you sit in the very back and look behind you, you will see the headless ghost. The ghost is that of a man who supposedly got decapitated on the ride by standing up. This fatality has never been proven.

Another ghost is said to haunt a stockroom in Fronteirland. It is a male ghost that has been known to pull the hair of female Cast Members while they are up there.

More stories to come....

All information about the Disneyland ghosts has come from numerous Cast Members throughout the park. Information about the actual fatalities came from a book that I really recommend
