DRAG RACING
This page contains a few pics of Drag Racing at Calder Park in victoria(australia).I have really started to get into this great sport,especially the Funny Cars and Top Fuelers.Just something to think about before you look at the pictures.1)If you went into the petrol station and turned on two petrol nozzles at the same time,that is how much fuel is going into the engine of one of these cars at any one time.2)An average family sedan has an output of about 100-150 horsepower.One of these Top Fuelers or Funny Cars has an output of about 5000-6500 horsepower.Now that is what I call pure power.
