The Anti-Heros are a band from Atlanta, GA. I have a few reasons for making this page.
- I like the band.
- They are in no way racist, fascist, neo-Nazi, or any shit like that. While clicking along through the internet, I found the amazingly ignorant "Anti-Anti-Heros Page," which I feel needs a response. It doesn't deserve one, but people are stupid & some idiot somewhere in the world might just end up believing the complete bullshit on that page if I don't sit here & type this right now. So it goes.
- I noticed something in a certain movie (a tattoo of a rather familiar logo on a Nazi skin character) that will undoubtedly cause questions about the subject of potential racism, etc., etc. of the band (although anyone who actually listens to the songs should know better). The use of the Anti-Heros logo in such a situation was completely thoughtless on the part of the movie's makers, not to mention extremely inappropriate. I'll prove this later with some of the band's lyrics.
Some of the Anti-Heros' songs sound violent, angry, and such, but then again, so does virtually all hardcore punk/ oi!, etc. music. Taken out of context (like they were on the pathetic Anti-Anti-Heros Page), a lot of lyrics of this sort could be misinterpreted, which is why I have here the entire songs, instead of just excerpts, which can never be indicative of a song's full meaning. Even then, it's sometimes hard to convey the meaning without actually letting someone listen to the music itself, so on some songs, I've added my own comments (in parenthesis & not bolded) in an attempt to further clarify or point out pieces of songs that one might miss.
