Hello! I'm Jenn, and I'd like to welcome you to the homepage of the Second Chances WebRing. This is a ring which was created to bring together sites of survivors of suicide attempts and their friends and families. Sites that are geared toward promoting awareness of and preventing suicide are also encouraged to join. I have tried to find rings and groups related to this subject and have had no success, so I decided to start one. I still have a lot of unresolved feelings related to my attempted suicide and the events surrounding and resulting from it. I think for anyone who has lived through it, or has been witness to it, it is a life changing experience. My hope is that by sharing our stories and ways we have learned how to cope, we can strengthen each other and lessen the commonality of the feelings of despair that lead to suicide. We all deserve a Second Chance.

Just a brief note: I have already had a request to be allowed to use different graphics, as these graphics did not complement the member's site. I have absolutely no problem with anyone making his own graphics to match a site's design, but you MUST let me know if you wish to do this so that I can approve the graphics before I add you to the ring. If you would like to use different graphics for aesthetic reasons but do not design your own, please contact me.
