Beta Sigma Phi Webring Homepage

Beta This is the home page of the Beta Sigma Phi Webring, a ring aimed at connecting sisters. To qualify for joining the web ring, the page must be either a personal homepage of a Beta Sigma Phi sister or a chapter/city council website. All submissions to the webring are subject to the ringmaster's approval before being accepted into the ring.

Ring began January 2, 1998.
Number of sites in the ring as at April 2 1998: 8 (4 more pending code addition)

Instructions on how to join.

There are a few stages involved in joining a web ring, as follows:
  1. Fill in the form below with details of your site. When you submit the form you will see a screen telling you what your Site ID Number is. Make a note of this, and your password, for future reference.
  2. EITHER: Shortly after you subscribe you will receive an email confirming your submission to the web ring. This email will contain the complete HTML code fragment with your site id number already in place. Cut and paste it one onto your page.
OR: Cut and paste the HTML code (the "Ring Code Fragment" below) onto your page, replacing the text _SITE_ID_HERE_ with your Site ID number.

At this time you will be added to the ring queue

  3. I will receive an email telling me that you are in the queue.
  4. I will look at and verify that the code on your page is ok, and then I will move your site from the queue into the ring itself.
  5. That's it! Finished!

The ring code fragment.

This is the code you must put on your page in order for it to be added to the webring. You can put the code on as many pages in your site as you like.

When you receive your Site ID, please please please don't forget to insert it into the code fragment in all the relevant places. Your site ID will be a number, so the code should read (for site ID 1):

[<a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=bsp;id=1;sprev" target="_top">Skip Prev</a>]
YOUR SITE WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE RING UNTIL YOUR SITE ID IS IN PLACE!!

Please leave the target="_top" in there, especially if your site uses frames. It will ensure that when people move from your site to another one in the ring they will not be trapped inside your frame.

Note: The graphics used here are quick-and-simple ones to get started with, as soon as I have some time I will create some more fancy graphics. If anyone else wants to create some graphics for me, then please feel free to Email them to me - the images must be 125 pixels wide by 80 pixels high and saved in jpg format. They should be named bspwrlogo.jpg and bspwrnext.jpg. Finally, on your page the code above will produce the following navigation area:
